The 2026 INDY Flickway Major Makes Breaks Record as the Largest Tournament in Binho History

Stop #7 The 2026 INDY Flickway Major, hosted at the legendary Mucky Duck Pub in Indianapolis, officially etched its name into Binho history as the largest tournament the sport has ever seen. With an unbelievable 88-player field, this was a landmark moment for the entire game.

For years, the Mucky Duck Pub has been the stomping ground in the Indy Binho Tournament scene, a place that has hosted countless battles and unforgettable moments. But this year, it became the setting for something even bigger: a historic tournament that brought together clubs from all over the country and pushed the scale of Binho competition to a new level.

A Historic Field Arrives in Indianapolis

Players and clubs traveled in from all across the country to be part of Binho history. The field was stacked with talent from clubs including Binho OC, Northwest Indiana Binho Club, New Jersey Binho Club, reigning hometown club Circle City Binho, OKC Binho Club and Gem City Binho Club.

And with a field this deep, only the strongest would rise.

Group Stage Was Packed, and the Favorites Emerged

New faces battled seasoned veterans, underdogs tried to force their way into the spotlight, and major contenders quickly made it clear they had come to play.

Among them was AD, the hometown hero from Indianapolis, former Indy Major winner, and the head honcho of Circle City Binho Club. Playing in front of a home crowd and on familiar ground, AD dominated the group stage and carried that form into the knockout rounds as the #1 seed.

Also looking dangerous from the very beginning was 2025 defending Indy champion and fellow CCBC Nolan, who came in as the #2 seed and immediately looked locked in. A four-time Major champion entering the event, Nolan played with the kind of confidence and sharpness that reminded everyone exactly why he entered as one of the favorites to repeat.

The Knockout Stage Delivered Major Drama

Once the bracket moved into knockout play, the tournament fully came alive.

AD looked every bit the part of a title contender early on. One of his toughest projected matchups came in the Round of 16, where he faced #17 seed and 2026 Chicago champion Rare Air in what many expected to be a battle. Instead, AD delivered one of the most emphatic performances of the tournament, beating Rare Air 7-1 and sending a message to the rest of the field.

But the road ended in the quarterfinals.

After looking dominant up to that point, AD was stopped by #8 seed Darren, who pulled off one of the biggest wins of the weekend with a 7-4 victory. It was a huge moment in the bracket, knocking out the hometown favorite and opening the door for Darren to put together the biggest run of his career.

Elsewhere in the bracket, the upsets kept coming through out the round of 64 and leading into the finals.

#49 seed Diesel knocked off #16 seed Lujou, proving again that no seed was safe in a field this deep. #40 seed Maverick made a statement of his own with a commanding 7-1 win over #25 seed Adam U. Also in the Round of 64, #47 seed Ivan M from Gem City Binho took down #18 seed Flicky Sosa. Another major upset came when #54 seed Jeff B defeated #11 seed Mendez, the head of New Jersey Binho Club, in a dramatic golden goal thriller, winning 7-6.

Breakout Runs Across the Bracket

Some more memorable matchups of the tournament came from the players who consistently fight to get into the next rounds.

Phoenix-based #9 seed Luca made a big run all the way to the Round of 16, where he was finally stopped by Darren in a dramatic 7-6 golden goal battle.

#10 seed Omar from OKC Binho club also had some hard fought matches, beating ATL Major Champion #23 seed David 7-3 in the round of 32.

#43 seed Gabtastic from Binho OC also made serious noise, reaching the Round of 16 before falling in another golden goal match to #6 seed Hernan C.

Meanwhile, #26 seed Numskull put together a strong run of his own, reaching the quarterfinals before being stopped by Nolan 7-2.

And then there was Hernan C.

Fresh off his finals appearance in Chicago, the #6 seed proved he belongs among the elite, making another deep push all the way to the semifinals. Match after match, Hernan showed the consistency and composure of a true contender, strengthening his reputation as one of the hottest players on tour.

Nolan Looked Like a Champion All Weekend

While the bracket around him delivered chaos, Nolan stayed focused.

The defending Indy champion was dominant throughout the event, including a 7-0 dismantling of Ivan M in the Round of 16. He followed that with a 7-2 win over Numskull in the quarterfinals, then took care of Hernan C in the semifinals by a 7-4 scoreline to once again book his place in the Indy final.

Nolan did not just survive the largest tournament in Binho history — he controlled it.

Final Four Sets Up a Storybook Ending

  • #2 seed Nolan
  • #6 seed Hernan C
  • #8 seed Darren
  • #20 seed Matt S

On one side, Nolan faced Hernan C in a battle between two of the tournament’s steadiest performers. Nolan came through with a 7-4 win, securing another finals appearance in Indianapolis and continuing his incredible run at one of his best events.

On the other side, the tournament delivered another stunning twist.

#20 seed Matt S, Nolan’s brother, turned in one of the most dominant performances of the weekend by crushing #8 seed Darren in a 7-0 shutout. With that, he punched his first ever finals apperance ticket to the championship match and created something the sport had never seen before:

Two brothers facing off in the final of a Binho Major.

It was the kind of story no one could script better.

Brother vs. Brother for the Indy Crown

For the first time in Binho history, a Major final featured two brothers from the same club battling for the title.

On one side was #2 seed Nolan, the defending champion, already one of the most decorated players in the sport. On the other was #20 seed Matt S, who had put together an incredible run to reach the biggest match of his career.

It was a championship match filled with story, emotion, and family pride.

In the end, Nolan showed exactly why he has become the standard. With a composed and clinical performance, he defeated Matt S 7-4 to win the 2026 INDY Flickway Major and claim yet another ring.

The victory gave Nolan his fifth Major championship ring, enough to fill an entire hand, and only added more fuel to the conversation many are now having openly:

Is Nolan the GOAT of Binho?

After another title in another massive field, the case only got stronger.

New York Picture Gets Clearer

The new qualifiers heading to NYC are:

  • #8 seed Darren
  • #20 seed Matt S
  • #21 seed SupaFly

With the largest tournament in Binho history now complete, the field for Worlds continues to take shape, and Indy played a major role in deciding who is still alive in the race.

A Historic Stop, and One More Chance Remains

Stop #7 was everything it needed to be: historic, dramatic, and unforgettable.

The 2026 INDY Flickway Major brought together the biggest field Binho has ever seen, delivered major upsets and breakthrough runs, and ended with one of the most unique championship matchups the sport has ever witnessed. It was a celebration of how far the game has come — and a sign of how much further it will still go.

Now, the tour heads west for one final stop on the Binho World Championship circuit.

Next up: Salt Lake City, Utah, where players will have their last chance to qualify for the World Flicking Championship in New York City.

See you all there.
