West Coast Flick Back Major #3 Delivers Drama, Upsets, and a Champion in Downtown Los Angeles

The 2026 West Coast Flick Back Major Tournament is officially in the books, and Stop #3 of the Binho Major Series did not disappoint — a packed house, breakout performances, stunning upsets, and a championship showdown worthy of the spotlight.

This year’s West Coast stop landed at Secret Walls HQ in downtown Los Angeles, one of the city’s most unique creative spaces and the perfect backdrop for a night of high-stakes flicking. With 52 competitors filling the bracket and a venue buzzing with spectators, energy was high from the moment group play began. Players from across Southern California came ready to battle for more than just a trophy, this was about west coast bragging rights and a chance to move one step closer to the 2026 Binho World Flicking Championship in New York City.

Clubs Showed Up and Showed Out

One of the best parts of this major was the turnout from Binho clubs across California, each bringing its own personality, style, and Binho flavor.

Among the most memorable arrivals was @Binholitos, a rising club out of Whittier, California, who made the quick 45-minute trip to Los Angeles and wasted no time making their presence felt. New to the scene but already unforgettable, the group has made it tradition to kick off tournaments the way every major sporting event should begin: by singing the national anthem. With more than 10 members and some of the loudest support in the room, Binholitos brought an unmatched level of energy that instantly elevated the atmosphere.

Representing the south, @sandiegobinho, led by Connor Costello, made the two-hour drive up from San Diego looking to make a statement. Known for their tournament poise, the SD squad came to hold their reputation and remind everyone they belong in every major conversation.

The hometown competitors, @selabinhoclub, had plenty to play for as local heroes competing on their own turf. The Los Angeles crew came in determined to take full advantage of home-field energy.

Then there was @binho_oc, one of the most decorated clubs in the scene. Led by Charles, the Orange County veterans entered the tournament with championship expectations and the weight of a five-ring legacy already on their shoulders. As always, they came in looking polished, dangerous, and fully capable of adding another title to the collection.

Group Stage Set the Tone

Group stage action got underway around 6:30 PM, and from the opening matches, it was clear this tournament had depth. New faces stepped into the spotlight against seasoned veterans, creating the kind of early-round tension that makes major tournaments special. Every table had its own story developing with rising challengers trying to prove they belonged, and established names trying to avoid becoming someone else’s breakthrough moment. By the time group play wrapped, the field had been trimmed to 32 players for the knockout round. That is when the tournament really exploded.

The Knockout Round Brought Absolute Chaos

After group stage, the knockout round revealed the stars. The biggest shock of the night came from #24 seed Razo Dazo of Binholitos, who pulled off one of the most memorable upsets of the tournament by taking down San Diego Binho Club commissioner and #1 seed Connor Costello in the Elite 8 by a score of 7-5. It was the kind of result that instantly changes the tone of an entire bracket and cements a player’s run as something special. The Cinderella energy did not stop there. #27 seed Ian K also put together an impressive run all the way to the Elite 8, where he ran into one of the hottest players in the game: Sapo, the most recent Denver Major champion. Ian’s run ended there in a 7-3 loss, but his performance was one of the clearest signs that new names are continuing to rise across the Binho landscape. Meanwhile, #26 seed Major Zero made his own deep push into the Elite 8 before falling short to #18 seed Numskull by a score of 7-4. Numskull’s composure and shot-making helped him carve out one of the strongest runs of the night.

By the time the bracket reached the Final Four, the stage was set for a storybook finish. On one side, #24 seed Razo Dazo of Whittier faced off against LA native and #4 seed Angeles, with both players carrying momentum and plenty of crowd support. On the other side, #18 seed Numskull of Bakersfield squared up against reigning champion and #3 seed Sapo, a strong matchup that held up to the hype.

A Championship Match Worthy of the Major Stage

When the dust settled, the title came down to two Southern California standouts: @sapoflickaverse and @angeles_._.23. It was the kind of final you hope for — two elite competitors, both backed by passionate support crews, both chasing West Coast supremacy. Every flick mattered. Every attack built tension. Every shot on goal pulled a reaction from the crowd.

In the end, it was SAPO who rose to the occasion once again. With a clutch performance under pressure, Sapo captured the title and secured his third Major championship ring, adding yet another achievement to both his own résumé and the already-loaded trophy case of @binho_oc. In a tournament full of unpredictability, the reigning champion once again proved why he remains one of the most dangerous players in the sport.

Tickets to NYC Have Been Punched

While Sapo walked away with the ring; Angeles & third-place finisher #18 seed Numskull (@blackgoldbinho) officially punched their tickets to the 2026 Binho World Flicking Championship in New York City. That means two more names are now locked into Worlds… & three more will be added next week for our 4th stop.

Next Stop: Philadelphia

With Los Angeles now in the rearview, the Major Series moves fast. Attention now turns to Stop #4: “The Brotherly Love” Major Tournament, taking place on April 25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where the next Binho Major champion will be crowned. If West Coast #3 proved anything, it is that no bracket is safe, no seed is guaranteed, and the level of competition across the scene continues to rise.

Good luck to everyone heading to Philly!
